Groups of students - defining

Creating groups of students is related to some classes divisions done on the basis of a class's size or too few teachers and the need to combine a group according to a class, year or school level, but also an individual education mode or optional courses to be selected by students.

System has to ensure:

• to avoid overlaping of courses selected by the same student,
• no gaps for students (in some kinds of schools)
• other defined constraints for the groups

Group defining depends on initial data we have:

• if known group divisions - by defining packages of courses (or simple groups though more flexibility is given by using packages, and it is preferred)
• if unknown group divisions - by correlated subjects /groups of subjects/

Group combining is possible by subjects' combining.
